As of this episode, the House passed the Senate bill that was rejected by the previous Congress under Paul Ryan.
Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has refused to put it to vote saying President of The United States will not sign it.
Nancy Pelosi has called the wall an immorality.
I give my take on the wall in the episode below.
The New Congress
Then we discuss the freshman House class of 2019. Are they going to change Washington or become a thorn in the side of Nancy Pelosi?
These progressive members have already started making waves as new House member Rashida Tlaib has come out swinging, caught on tape saying she plans to “impeach the motherfucker”.
Senior Democrats have already been addressing the issue with Jerrold Nadler saying:
“I disagree with what she said,” said Jerrold Nadler of New York, to CNN. Nadler is chair of the House judiciary committee, which would begin impeachment proceedings.
“It is too early to talk about that intelligently,” he said. “We have to follow the facts.”
Elizabeth Warren for President??
